The Titanic – Today Is Yesterday’s Fiction

• April 23, 2012 • Comments (2)

Today is yesterday’s fiction and imagination. Your strong imagination today shall become tomorrow’s fact.

Do you know the story of the Titanic that sank in 1912, was written 14 years before 1912 in a fictional story called “Futility” by Morgan Robertson in 1898? His fiction became fact 14 years after the book was published.

Here is a quote from Neville Goddard about the Titanic, (taken from one of Neville’s speeches)

“Do you recall seeing on TV, a dramatized version of the sinking of the Titanic? Do you recall it? Have you read the book. “A Night to Remember”? Well the book itself is by Walter Lord (A Night To Remember is a 1955 non-fiction account of the Titanic, but it also compared the Titanic to a fictional ship in the novel ‘Futility’ written in 1898): but 14 years before the actual harvest or that frightful event of the sinking of the Titanic a man in England wrote a book (here, Neville refers to the book “Futility” 1898 by Morgan Robertson).

He conceived this fabulous Atlantic liner and there he built her just like the Titanic, (only the Titanic was not built for 14 years) but he, in his imagination, conceived the liner of 800-ft. She was triple screw, she carried 3000 passengers, she carried few lifeboats because she was unsinkable; she could make 24 knots; and then one night he filled her to the brim with rich and complacent people, and on a cold winter night he sunk her on an iceberg in the Atlantic.

14 years later the White Star Line builds a ship(Titanic). She is 800 ft., she is a triple screw, she can make 24 knots, she can carry 3000 passengers, she has not enough lifeboats for passengers but she, too, is labeled unsinkable. She is filled to capacity with the rich, if not complacent, but the rich, because her passenger list was worth in that day, when the dollar was one hundred cents, two hundred and fifty million dollars was the worth of the passenger list. Today it would be a billion dollars. All the wealth of Europe and the wealth of this country was sailing on that maiden voyage out of Southampton. Five nights at sea in this wonderful glorious ship and she went down on a cold April night on an iceberg.

Now that man wrote a book either to get something off his chest because he disliked the rich and the complacent, or he thought it might sell or he thought this is the means of bringing him a dollar as a writer. But, whatever was the motive behind his book which, by the way, he called “Futility” to show the utter futility of accumulated wealth, but the identical ship was built 14 years later and carried the same kind of a passenger list and went down in the same manner as the fictional ship.

Is there any fiction? There is no fiction! Tomorrow’s world is today’s fiction. Today’s world was yesteryear’s fiction – the dreams of men of yesteryear.”

In Robertson’s novel in 1898, he named the ocean liner “Titan”, the largest and most luxurious ship in the world. The full title of his book was “Futility – The Wreck Of The Titan”!

There Is Only One Power

• April 3, 2012 • Comments (0)

There is only one power in the universe. It is the creative force in our own thoughts and imagination.

There is no enemy on the outside, but an enemy that we create within. We are told, there is only one God, and beside Him there is No Other. As the story goes in scripture, in the beginning there was only God, and God’s power created the world. There was no mention of the Devil in the beginning. But out of the things that were created, suddenly the people believed in a powerful devil, a force that opposed God. The devil is merely a product of man’s own “vain imaginings”.

When you fight a non-existent devil, you only give reality to it. There is no Devil but the negation of God. If God is the symbol of man’s Faith, then the Devil is eternally the symbol of man’s Doubts. What power is seen as anti-god? It is man’s own doubts. It is man’s own doubts that defeats himself.

Doubts and worry are the little monsters that destroy success. It defeats us by defeating our faith. Suppose the journey to your success takes twenty steps, when you have doubt, you will not even begin to take the first step towards your goal and desires. You are defeated even before you begin. In fact, with doubt, you cannot even dare to imagine yourself succeeding even just for the sake of imagining it for the fun of it.

We live a life of faith versus doubts. Everyday in each area of our lives, faith and doubt are fighting each other. The battleground is our consciousness. We can only succeed when we finally realize that faith and doubt are the same power moving in opposing directions. When we realize that when we believe, and fear not evil(ie. the opposite to what we wish to achieve), then we shall succeed.

That is why the law of non-resistance is such an important law. Resist not evil, and it shall flee from you. Pay no heed to your doubts. Bring your mind back to your objective as often as possible.

But we all know most people spend most of their time either doubting or resisting their doubts. Both mental acts give greater reality to their doubts. That is the law of attraction working – whatever you focus on increases. The law of non-resistance says disregard your fears and negative thoughts, but do not resist or fight them, and just focus your attention on what you want. Just pretend that your doubts are powerless to change the fact that you are going to succeed. Believe that your faith is all powerful and your doubts are nothing. That is the true mental application of “There is only One Power, Only One God”.

Affirm to yourself “This word of success that I am speaking now is almighty and powerful that nothing in this world can oppose it. No person, no word, no action, no thought, no intention, absolutely nothing in this world has any power to oppose my success. My word of success now completely neutralizes every thought that are unlike itself. And it is done.”

The Mental States Which You Enter Are The Causes Of Your Life

• March 29, 2012 • Comments (0)

Our consciousness can assume and enter any state that we choose.

But most people are hypnotized by the facts, problems, worries, confusions around them and are thus bound to negative or stagnant states which they try to avoid.

Whatever we spend our focus on, we are attracting and manifesting more. Like a seed that multiplies, each event and condition when contemplated upon will manifest more of the same.

To manifest anything we want, we need to train ourselves to frequently contemplate on that which we desire.

The feelings of wanting and anticipation will not get  you there. Anticipation and wanting are states which imply that you do not have what you want.

A poor man wants and anticipates money all his life, but he remains in the state of poverty. If only he could get out of that state and start thinking differently!

The rich, the poor, the successful, the failure, the lucky, unlucky, loved, unloved, are all victims of their own states of mind which they enter.

Churchill said the mood determines the fortunes of the people. We make our own destiny and reality, but most people let their current reality determine their mood.

Therefore let us daily renew our mind to deliberately enter into the states that we desire.

We cannot hope that sooner or later a happy state will come to us. Happiness is not to be hoped for. Happiness is to be created, a state to be entered into. It is done by choice and intention. The same goes for all other states.

The Creative Power Of The Universe

• March 5, 2012 • Comments (0)

There exists a powerful and creative energy in the Universe. This power is pure potential. It is the eternal unmanifested and unseen. It is the source, the I AM.

It seeks to move from the unmanifested to the manifested. It’s purpose is to express and manifest. For what purpose? Only for the purpose of experience and nothing else.

The direction of this power is controlled by your mind. By the nature of your thoughts, so it is. Indeed we are manifesting all day long.

It’s potential is limitless. It is only limited by your own thoughts and beliefs.

This power does not slumber, it is working 24 hours 7 days a week in our calendar time, and it has been in existence before the beginning of time.

Our goal therefore, is to learn the effective techniques of how to use this energy.

You can learn how I used specific mental techniques to manifest my dream apartment, and how I was attracted into the apartment that fitted my imagination and criteria. Directly in the city, on a high level, with water views and city views. This is the same technique that I used to manifest my dream car, a Mercedes CLC, all by the power of imagination. Check out my bestselling ebook manual titled Secret Techniques Of Manifesting With Imagination.

Creating A Consciousness of Wealth and Abundance

• February 29, 2012 • Comments (0)

Your level of wealth all depends on your subconscious thoughts about money. Why are some rich and others poor? Everyone needs money to live. Money is a symbol of material power in this world. Money is not the be-all and end-all of life, but with money comes freedom, choice, time, quality and power in the physical world. Without money we wouldn’t be able to feed ourselves or put a roof over our heads!

There are several things you do that influence your subconscious mind about the topic of money.

Firstly, when you are spending money to buy something, do you feel positive emotions such as gratitude, joy, power, freedom of choice, or do you feel emotions of fear, worry, anxiety, dissatisfaction? Whether you are in the positive emotion category or the negative emotion side will determine your current attraction of money. The greatest repellent of wealth is the thought and emotion of fear. That’s right, fear man’s greatest obstacle to attracting wealth.

Secondly, when some people buy something such as a jacket, will go for the cheapest one. Even if they preferred a more expensive one, they find themselves always going for the cheapest clothing. They find themselves going into the Reject Shop, or the “$2 Shop” most of the time. Believe it or not, this act of always going for cheap sends an indirect message to the subconscious mind. The impression the subconscious is getting is “I can’t afford anything dearer than cheap”. And think, so you must manifest. The subconscious will adjust their financial situation to match according what they believe.

I say step out of your consciousness of lack and fear. Start buying something you really love even if it is a little more expensive, and it should be money spent satisfactorily and with pleasure. Buy something for yourself that tells your subconscious mind “I am worth it. I reward myself. There is abundance in the universe. I’m attracting more money to flow in as I enjoy buying this”. Do you feel how much better and happier this statement makes you feel when you spend money?

Man’s wealth is a mental thing. If you have $20,000 cash in the bank, and suppose you keep telling yourself “I can’t afford this” and “I will buy the cheapest eventhough I like that dearer item”. Believe it or not, if you keep thinking in terms of lack, your subconscious mind will arrange your condition so that even if you have $20,000, it will go out quickly from large unforseen bills, obligations or loss. To say it bluntly, if you are tight, your subconscious will make sure you are right about being tight!

The illustrations above show you why subconscious impressions are so vital to your wealth. Whether you attract or repel money depends on one thing, your subconscious barometer of wealth.

Do you think in terms of Abundance or Lack? Possession or Loss? Right Supply or Competition? These are just 3 pairs of mindsets which you must select carefully in order to manifest wealth or anything you want. Which mindset you choose will determine your current point of attraction of money.

Wolf Messing and the power of thought influence

• February 5, 2012 • Comments (0)

Wolf Messing was probably one of the most famous psychic in Europe in the 1930s to 1960s. He was born in Poland as a Jew in 1899. Later, he moved to Berlin, where he developed his psychic abilities. He developed a mind reading stage act that quickly drew attention throughout Europe.

In Vienna he met Sigmund Freud, who tested him. Freud was amazed at the results. It took place in Albert Einstein’s apartment. Freud gave Messing a mental command. In Messing’s own words: “To this day I still remember Freud’s mental command. Go to the bathroom cupboard and pick up some tweezers. Return to Albert Einstein and pull out a hair from Einstein’s moustache.” Messing did as he telepathically received the thought. Years later, when speaking of the incident, Freud concluded that “If I had my life to live over again, I would devote it to Psychic Research.”

When he predicted Hitler’s death if the Fuhrer “turned toward the East.” Hitler had a sum of 200,000 marks put on his head.  Messing was arrested by the Germans. At the police station, he gave the officers a mental order to go to a room in the other end of the building, even his guards. He wrote: “When, responding to my will, the police had all gathered in that room, I lay completely motionless, as if dead. Then, quickly, I ran into the corridor. Instanly, before they could come to, I slid the iron bolt on the door…”

He escaped to Russia, where he continued his career as a telepathic entertainer. A career that had been interupted the night he was taken off the stage by green-uniformed Russian police officers and presented to “a man with a moustache.” It was Josef Stalin, Dictator of the Soviet Union.

Stalin commanded a frightened Messing to prove his psychic abilities of thought control. He told Messing to pull off a psychic bank robbery. Messing was to walk into the Moscow Gosbank, alone and unarmed, and come back with 100,000 rubles. Plainclothes agents would be inside and outside as witnesses.

“I walked up to the cashier and handed him a blank sheet of paper torn from a school notebook.” Stern Soviet agents watched as the elderly male teller looked at the paper, went to the safe, came back and handed Messing 100,000 rubles. Messing walked outside to waiting Soviet agents. Amazed, they counted the money then handed it back. When Messing returned to the bank counter and handed back the money, the teller looked at the money in surprise, looked at Messing then at the blank sheet of paper. He fell to the floor with a heart attack. “Luckily, it wasn’t fatal.”

A second test set by Stalin was to enter his house — surrounded by armed guards — without a pass. Later, as Stalin was working in his office, Messing walked in to Stalin’s surprise. How did he do it? Messing explained that he had broadcasted a mental suggestion that he was the feared head of the Russian secret police Lavrenti Beria, and that the guards had seen Beria, not Messing. His strong belief that “I am Beria” made others see him as he believed.

The most important thing we learn from Messing is that your own faith and conviction makes your thought powerful. By believing in what you think, you amplify the influential power of that thought.

I recall once I had a similar experience many years ago as a university student. One day I was tired walking and I decided to take the tram. I had those prepaid tickets that required me to insert the card into the electronic validating machine. But because the tram was full and there were people standing in the way of the machine, I decided  it was too troublesome to validate it. Suddenly, 2 ticket inspectors came up and they demanded everyone to show their validated ticket. All tickets that were validated would be printed with the date and time by the machine. Mine only had lines showing the previous validation from past trips, which was dated weeks before. But I showed my ticket to the inspector confidently, while sending her a thought strongly “Here’s the validated ticket”. I thought, if she found out that it wasn’t actually validated, I could tell her the reason why I didn’t validate it. But she took a very close look at my ticket and said “Thank you”, and walked on to the next passenger.

Disrupting The Routines Of Life For Change

• November 27, 2011 • Comments (0)

Everytime you disrupt a routine, you open up a portal to new possibilities.

In our everyday lives, whenever we disrupt a routine, we create new experiences. For example you may leave your house the same time every morning, walk the same path, take the same train to work. And you’ve been doing that for everyday for the last 10 years. To disrupt that routine, you can try going a bit earlier, walk a different path to the station, and you will be on a different train than the one you usually take. By doing that deliberately, you have set forth certain chain reactions.

Firstly you will have a very different experience, you will feel the freshness and energy of a new experience. Secondly, you will encounter different people and different events. Thirdly, whenever you break a routine, your vibration for the day is changed, and that change can ripple to other areas of your life during the day.

You can try to disrupt your other routines. If you’ve always shopped at a certain shop, try another shop. Always go to the same restaurant and the same food? Try another next time.

In the realm of mind, if you continue your routine thoughts every day, it will not bring about any change in your life. You cannot attract anything new with routine thoughts. Therefore we must disrupt our routine thoughts in some ways, to open up to new possibilities. Break the old pattern, and you will see new patterns emerging.

We live not to go thru the same routine every single day. Life is an adventure. Life is a playground and buffet of experience. Open up and allow for change.
