Ebooks will be back for purchase soon

Over the past 2 months, many readers who wished to purchase ebooks from our site have reported that the purchase links didn’t work. I have replied to them by email that I have had problems with Paypal. My Paypal account was blocked in the last 2 months due to a dispute I had with Paypal.

What happened? I purchased several items from a seller online and found that the items were fake, when I lodged disputes for the transactions, and what did Paypal do? Paypal reversed my payments because Paypal had to follow their guidelines since we had proof. That’s fine. But Paypal took an additional step after that by blocking my paypal account, stating that my paypal account is “high risk” due to me reporting too many disputes and claiming for refunds. So much for Paypal’s buyer protection huh? And then Paypal banned all my other accounts which were under the same name (I have different paypal accounts – one for this website, one for ebay, one for family use). I found that Paypal was being very unfair to me, since I didn’t do anything wrong, in fact I was the victim of a fraud and should not be treated this way, so I lodged complaints to the Financial Ombudsman. The Ombudsman contacted Paypal and Paypal tried to bypass the Ombudsman and telling me they will not change the status of our account and they are sticking to their policies. At one point I actually gave up hope.

Then one afternoon, seeing that this was going nowhere after 2 months, I did a short visualization just to satisfy myself. In my imagination, I assumed that we could sell ebooks on my website again and purchases going through successfully.

Then yesterday, after not logging into Paypal for more than half a month, I gave it a try and found that Paypal had finally raised the blockade on one of my accounts! At least there’s some progress there! Imagination really opens doors! I will continue to try pushing for all my paypal accounts to be reactivated again.
