Law of attraction: Synchronicity of a friend’s apartment
Here’s a peculiar example of how Law of Attraction works.
My good friend Clement used to always tell me stories about his city apartment that he sold a few years ago. He often told me about how it had a large balcony, where people in the units upstairs often throw rubbish down into the balcony. Cigarette butts, tissue paper, wrappers, can be found in the balcony each week.
A few weeks ago I moved temporarily into an apartment tower opposite the apartment that Clement used to live in. While I was there, I frequently looked out my window where I can get a clear view of the 5 big balconies in that apartment opposite, one of which used to belong to Clement. I even took photos and showed it to Clement, telling him “see what a good view I have of your old apartment opposite.”
Now a few weeks passed, and I had to move a few times, because I only signed a short term lease in each apartment, while I test out whether I like living there or not. I’m quite picky about where I live, it has to be clean, first and foremost, and it has to be quiet. I have found some of the apartments I moved into had noisy tenants, or dirty tenants. So I actually moved about 3 times within 1 month.
Just 2 days ago due to some circumstances, I wanted to move again. I actually moved into the apartment without seeing it, because a friend had recommended it to me. Just yesterday, I noticed there is a big balcony just outside the other room. I thought, great, I must be on the same level to where Clement used to live (there is only 1 level which has huge balconies in that tower). I happened to bring this up to Clement while chatting with him online today, and told him I’m in Unit 7. He said “that was my apartment!”. I said “Are you sure?”. He said “go to the living room, is that brown wall still there? I painted that wall myself 14 years ago!”. I walked out the door of my room to the living room, yes one side of the living room is a brown feature wall!
So I’m now living in his apartment tower, in the exact same unit that he used to live in!
Our interest in this apartment unit and our frequent discussion and focusing on it has drawn me into it! I hope I’m not freaking you out, but synchronicities such as these happen to me very often.
The moral of the story? What you frequently focus on, you attract.
