The True Spiritual and Mystical Meaning of Heaven and Eternity

We often come across the word “Eternity” in ancient scriptures and mystical texts. We were told, when we go to heaven it is for eternity.

Most people believe that after they die, they will go to a place called ‘heaven’ or ‘hell’, where they will live forever. This is what the Church would have you believe, by using the ultimate fear as a tool to make people believe. It is the church, trying to understand eternity in his limited and antiquated concept of time (just like they insisted the earth was flat).  Man sees and experiences linear time, but Consciousness is not limited by linear time.

Eternity means ‘existence for an unlimited amount of time’. It is saying that it includes ALL TIME, meaning past, present and future. If heaven is eternity, then it is NOW. Eternity must include now, because eternity is all time, and this present moment is in it. Furthermore, this present moment we call “Now” is the only moment you can be in for eternity. We are always in the Now, looking back at the past, and looking forward the future. We are always in the ETERNAL NOW.

To the mystic, ‘Heaven’ is a state of higher conscioussness, a Divine state of being that is ABUNDANCE and ALL SUPPLY. It is a state of consciousness, it is within you. It is never a place in the sky somewhere as most religious people believe. Do you not know that the kingdom of god, heaven is within you? It is the state of consciousness that supplies all your needs and fulfills your prayers. We are told blessings will pour out from the heavens and that there could not be enough room in your life to receive it. This implies the blessings from heaven is experienced in this life, not after life. It is said we should make heaven on earth. Heaven is really a state of consciousness of Abundance, Unity, Supply, Oneness, Love. That state, when accessed automatically attracts to you your supply.

What is hell? Hell is the state of being something that you do not want and feeling its negative emotions. The true meaning of “Sin” is – being and thinking something that you do not want to be or have. If you want to achieve something, but you do not imagine nor assume you are already that, then you are sinning. Sin actually means “missing your mark”.  Therefore, you could be in a state of “sin” and “hell” for eternity, if you do not enter the state of consciousness (heaven) of your wish fulfilled.

The poet William Blake, who understood the real meaning of heaven and hell and consciousness, wrote:

There is a Moment in each Day that Satan cannot find
Nor can his Watch Fiends find it, but the Industrious find
This Moment & it multiply, & when it once is found
It Renovates every Moment of the Day if rightly placed

Milton 35:42-45

That moment in each day he is talking about is our eternal present “Now”, which is the only moment of power. It is the only moment we can use. And to ‘use it’ we do not mean just physical action. But more importantly, where is your consciousness at each moment of Now? Your consciousness Now, if used correctly, can change the past memories and future possibilities. The present moment is the link between your past and future. Your past is dreamlike, existing to you ONLY in your consciousness as Memory, and these memories are affecting your Now and Future. Authors Serge Kahili King and Neville Goddard both taught that when memories are changed, its new effects can carry over to your Present and Future. We will talk about holographic timelines in the Holographic Universe in another article. I say the past, present and future, are fluid, because Now is the moment of unlimited possibility to the Creative Power we call Mind.

 Are you assuming the consciousness of your goal fulfilled? If you have experience in Creating with Imagination, you will find entering that consciousness will ‘renovate’ everything in your life to conform with your state of consciousness. To Blake, Satan is a personification of Doubt. Satan (your Doubts) defeats you from the Kingdom of Heaven (wish fulfilled).

Heaven, being consciousness which is eternal, when entered, can change all time – past, present, future. Your consciousness(heaven) is your Point of Attraction/Creation in the Present.
